Hey —
I’m David and live in an apartment in New York City with my family and our large dog.
My entry-point into cinema was renting VHS tapes from the public library in high school — Hitchcock’s Vertigo was the first one that really hit. Film school and many odd and not so odd jobs later, I began my career in post-production. First in reality television before eventually moving into documentary.
Most recently I edited the five part series on Martin Scorsese’s life and work Mr. Scorsese. Other credits include Arthur Miller: Writer, The Last Dance, Running With Beto, and The King of Cool.
I have strong technical skills, along with research + archival — so I bring more than just picture editing to a project.
